This website about Trafoi (1,545 m a.s.l.), a village of about 60 inhabitants and in the center of the Stelvio National Park, was born for those who left their Youth and Heart here!
It is the birthplace of Gustav Thöni, world ski champion in 1971, 1972, 1973, and 1975; today manager of a hotel in Trafoi, together with his family.
Trafoi, in the province of Bolzano, a village of great mystical energy, still has the scent of true things, of spontaneous Nature; immersed in the magic of the High Mountains, the Great Woods, and the Three Holy Fountains that transform the stay into an enchanted dream.
Here you can smell the cut grass, the flowers, the mushrooms, the growing moss and the burning wood, the sound of the bell tolling the hours and the rooster the days, on the paths and in the woods you can listen to Nature and finally far from the city: your life!
In this place you come to go hiking (or skiing), to enjoy the Sun and the Nature of the Stelvio National Park, to breathe pure air and relax, and you will also find traditional hospitality and excellent South Tyrolean cuisine.
